What does this plugin do?
This plugin lets you add labels to events in a flexible, visual way. It’s designed to improve clarity and player feedback by giving events names, icons, or notes that appear right above them in-game.
You can attach labels to events using a simple comment notetag or a plugin command (MZ only). From there, everything is customizable.
Simple Setup
Add labels through notetags or plugin commands — no extra work needed.
Customizable Appearance
Use images for your labels or stick with styled text. Fonts, sizes, colors, outlines — all fully configurable.
Precise Positioning
Adjust the label’s X and Y offset to get it exactly where you want it.
Dynamic Visibility
Labels can change based on proximity to the player, direction faced, or other in-game conditions.
Flexible Notetag System
Only define the properties you need. Anything you leave out will fall back on plugin defaults, so it’s easy to keep things clean.
Built-In Message Code Support
You can use message codes inside labels — like showing an icon, a variable’s value, or the name of an actor — just like in standard RPG Maker messages.
Plugin Commands for More Control
Use AddLabel
(MZ only) to create labels when the map loads, or toggle visibility on the fly with ShowLabel
and HideLabel
.
